Jacksonville, FL – Pedestrian Accident at 103rd St and Ricker Rd

Jacksonville, FL (February 9, 2020) – Around 2:30 a.m. this morning, a pedestrian was seriously injured in an accident at a Jacksonville intersection.

The collision took place at the intersection of 103rd Street and Ricker Road. The pedestrian was trying to cross the street in a crosswalk.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of the accident and claimed that the pedestrian was badly injured. They were taken to a local area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The westbound lanes of the roadway were closed down at the intersection. The Florida Highway Patrol continues its investigation at this time.
