St. Augustine, FL (April 6, 2020) – Around 2 p.m. this afternoon, a serious hit-and-run accident took place in front of a St. Augustine gas station.

The accident took place when a vehicle collided with another at 2480 SR-207 in front of the BP Gas Station in St. Augustine.

Police confirmed that, when one of the vehicles struck the other, it quickly fled the scene of the accident. Police have not yet said whether or not they have caught the other party.

There were injuries to one or more victims in the other vehicle. The extent of their injuries is not yet known.

Police continue their investigation into the accident at this time.
